2008 Suddenlink AMRA King of the Mountains

Weekly Racing Series

Pro Late Model Rules

NOTE: Suddenlink AMRA KoM WRS sanctioned tracks running Crates ONLY in 2008 will use these exact rules outlined below EXCEPT the ONLY engines allowed will be the:
GMPP 602
GMPP 604.
No provisions or weight offsets for Open/Limited Steel block engines will apply.
 
All other sanctioned tracks will follow the rules outlined below.

1. The rules and/or regulations set forth herein do not express or imply warranty of safety, from publication of, or, compliance with these rules and/or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series and are in no way a guarantee against injury to participants.

2. These rules and/or regulations will apply to all AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned racing events.

3. AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series officials have full authority over said sanctioned racing events. In the event of any dispute the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Director’s decision will be final.

4. All racecars are subject to be inspected by the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Technical Director/Inspector at any time during the event.

5. AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series reserves the right to alter or amend these rules and/or regulations in the interest of fair competition at any time.

6. Because the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series is a weekly series, in the absence of series officials, the hosting track’s officials will be given the same respect as AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials.

7. Any AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned track, Official, or driver choosing to purposely deviate from the rules and guidelines set forth by the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series will be subject to suspension or termination of sanctioning upon the findings of the AMRA Board of Directors.

SAFETY:

Helmets -

A. Required and must meet a minimum standard rating of Snell SA2005 or SA2000.

B. Helmet must accompany vehicle at time of inspection.

Fire Suits-

A. Required. SFI approved flame retardant nature must be worn by all competitors at all times.

B. Fire suit must be in good operable condition.

C. Two-piece fire suits are allowed.

D. Fire retardant gloves, neck braces, and shoes are highly recommended.

Fire Extinguishers

A. Required. A minimum of one (1) 2 lb properly mounted (not taped or clamped into car with no means to readily remove it if needed) Car will NOT be allowed to compete without fire extinguisher. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Seat Belts-

A. Competition type seat belts required.

B. Belts must be at least 3 inches in width.

C. Lap belts, shoulder belts, and submarine belts are required. D. No factory type seat belts may be used.

E. Metal to metal buckles required on shoulder and seat belts.

F. All belts must be dated no more than three (3) years old.
 

Example: If a car is inspected in May 2008, the seat belts can be dated no earlier than May 2005. Driver will be given one (1) warning to get belts replaced before the next race. The second warning, the belts MUST be replaced before the car will be allowed to participate in any further competition activities.

Window nets:

A. Required. May be sprint car type or Full window net.

B. Must be securely fastened while on the track.

Other SAFETY EQUIPMENT requirements

A. NO batteries permitted to be located in the drivers’ compartment.

B. Racing seats and racing seat belts with shoulder harness are REQUIRED and MUST securely fasten to the car frame.

c. A driveline "sling" is REQUIRED.

D. Fire resistant gloves, underwear and socks are recommended.

E. Eighteen (18)-gauge steel or one and one-eighth inch (1/8") aluminum "cockpit tub" to protect front, sides, and rear of driver is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

F. Weight ballast MUST be painted white or yellow and have number of car painted on them.

G. Added weight or ballast MUST be securely fastened. Any attached weights must be securely attached to the frame, painted white or yellow and have the car number clearly displayed on them. Weights of up to 50 pounds must be secured by two half inch Grade 5 bolts on two weight clamps. Weights secured by one bolt and/or held on by a means other than accepted by the Tech Inspector will not be permitted. NO ALL THREAD will be permitted.

 

H. Due to the high risk factor involved, any car that loses lead weight during an event due to unapproved attachment methods may be fined $100 and/or face disqualification.

BODIES

A. Nosepiece and roof must match body style of car.

B. All cars must have a minimum of one inch (1”) and a maximum of two (2”)

inches of roll at top of fenders, doors, and quarter panels. A sharp edge will not be permitted. Body roll must go from sides over interior, not interior over sides.

C. Floorboards and firewall must cover the driver’s area and be constructed to provide maximum safety.

D. Driver’s seat must remain in the same general area as the general design of the car.

E. Windshield screen or bars are mandatory. Drivers side window net mandatory. (sprint car type ok.)

F. Legible numbers, at least eighteen inches (18”) high are required on each side of the car and roof.

G. No fins or raised lips of any kind are permitted anywhere along the entire length of the car.

H. Bodyline must be a smooth even line from front to rear.

I. No “slope noses” or “wedge cars” permitted. Noses must be stock appearing, subject to Series template.

J. No “belly pans” or any type of enclosure on bottom of car is permitted. Skid plate to protect oil pan is permitted.

K. No wings or tunnels of any kind are permitted underneath the body or chassis of the car. A maximum of one (1) stone deflector, for rear mounted oil pumps, oil filters, and for the main oil tank will be permitted. The deflector may be made of steel, aluminum, or heavy gauge wire. The cover may only be mounted near the unit it is designed to protect with a maximum size of 18”x 18” and mounted only from the upper right frame rail to the lower right frame rail.

L. All non-approved bodies will be assessed a fifty pound (50#) minimum weight penalty.

M. No panels of any kind under the rear deck running from the front to the rear of the car.

N. Any air cleaner scoops used must be positioned in front of or around the air cleaner and cannot exceed one (1”) inch in height above any part of the air cleaner. The scoop cannot be designed with fins or raised edges to direct airflow. The scoop cannot extend behind the rear of the air cleaner and must have a maximum width of seventeen inches (17”) at the rear, with a maximum of ten inches (10”) width at the front and cannot have more than one inch (1”) opening from the in height at the front.

O. No adjustable shocks, hydraulic or pneumatic weight jacks, trackers, MSD boxes or similar adjustable components of any kind are permitted inside the cockpit of the car. Taping over of any adjuster is not permitted. The offending component must be removed from the cockpit.

STOCK NOSE PIECES

A. All stock nosepieces must be approved by King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Technical Inspector.

B. Nosepieces must be made of molded type material.

C. Two piece noses must be fastened together in center. No spacers to gain width are permitted.

D. The nosepiece must be mounted so as not to alter its original shape.

E. No material can be removed from the nosepiece. No cutting from bottom, top or sides is permitted.

F. No adding to the bottom of the nosepiece in the front achieve lower ground clearance is permitted.

G. A stock nosepiece can extend a maximum of Fifty-two inches (52") from the center of the front hub to the farthest point extending forward.

H. Front fender flairs must be made of plastic and cannot alter the original shape of the nosepiece. The front fender flairs cannot extend beyond the front tire more than one inch (1") in width with wheels pointed straight.

I. Front fender flairs must have collapsible support.

J. Dominator Nose Piece and Fender Flares by Aerotech ARE APPROVED!!!!

ROOF AND ROOF SUPPORTS

A. The roof length size must be a minimum of forty- four inches (44") to a maximum of fifty-four inches (54").

B. The roof width size must be a minimum of forty- eight inches (48") to a maximum of fifty-two inches (52").

C. Roof must be stock appearing and mounted level.

D. Roof height must be between forty-five inches (45”) and forty-eight (48”) from the ground.

E. The roof must be mounted parallel to body and near center of the car.

F. A maximum one and one half inch (1.5”) roll, tuned downward, is permitted along the front edge of the roof. A maximum one-inch (1”) roll turned downward is permitted along the rear edge of the roof. (Roll permitted to help strengthen roof).

G. No flat or odd shaped roofs permitted.

H. All roof side panels must extend to the edge of the body. Maximum Roof side panel window size – seventeen inches (17”) at the top, forty-three inches (43”) maximum at the bottom. The window area may be covered with clear Lexan or transparent material. Both roof support openings must be covered or both must be left open. Decals will be permitted but must meet the dimensions in the drawing and must be approved by the Technical Inspector. Maximum two inch (2”) bow in either direction in rear roof side panels is permitted.

I. Front posts must be flat and if uniform width from top to bottom – four inch (4”) maximum width.

J. Any sun shields, four inch (4”) maximum, must be able to hinge for easy exiting of car.

FRONT FENDERS AND HOOD

A. Must be level and flat from left to right side of car.

B. Fenders not permitted to gain height from rear to front of car.

C. No part of fender or hood can be outside of the bodyline.

D. The front fender can be a maximum of thirty six inches in height. Height is measured vertically from the ground to the top of the fender behind the front tires.

DOORS

A. Door to door cannot exceed seventy-six inches in width at the top of the doors.

B. Door to door cannot exceed eighty two inches in width at the bottom in the center of the car.

C. Doors cannot exceed thirty-six inches in height measured from the ground.

D. At no point can the door sides break in towards the center of the car between the top and bottom measurements.

E. The minimum ground clearance permitted is three inches.

QUARTER PANELS

A. No offset quarter panels permitted. Must be equally tapered towards the center of the car.

B. Tire clearance from body must be a minimum of tow inches (2”). No wheel skirts permitted.

C. At no point can quarter panel sides break in towards center of the car.

FRAMES

A. No aluminum frames permitted in construction of car.

B. Minimum 103” wheelbase.

C. Rectangle or Square Tubing: The frame of all cars must be constructed of two inch (2”) by two-inch (2”) minimum Rectangular or square tubing with a minimum of eight inch (8”) circumference and a minimum of eighty-three thousands inch (.083”)

wall thickness.

D. Tube Frame:

The frame of all cars must be constructed of a minimum of one and three quarter (1¾”) round tubing and must have a wall thickness of eighty-three thousands inch (.083”) wall thickness minimum.

E. If rear bumper is stubbed, it may only extend a maximum of eight inches (8”) beyond frame. Any stubbed rear bumpers that extend eight inches (8”) or more beyond frame must be rounded and directed towards the front of the car.

F. It is recommended that all cars be equipped with a tow hook or strap.

G. All battery supports must be braced in two axis - two horizontal and one vertical.

ROLL CAGES

A. Cars must have a suitable steel roll cage in drivers’ compartment including headrest.

B. Side roll bars are mandatory and must extend into the door panels.

C. A minimum of three (3) bars must be used on the left side of the car. Each bar must be a minimum of one and one-half inch (1½’) in diameter with a minimum thickness of ninety-five thousands inch (.095”)

D. Roll cage must be welded to the frame.

E. Roll cage must be above the drivers’ helmet.

F. No “fin-shaped” or “foil-shaped” add-ons permitted on any part of the roll cage. The entire roll cage must be constructed of round tubing only.

INTERIORS

A. Interior is permitted to be dropped to the middle of the car a maximum of three inches (3”) below the top of doors and a minimum of twelve inches (12”) below the roll cage.

B. Interior must gradually taper up to the quarter panel height and be level for thirty-two inches (32”) from the rear of the quarter panel.

C. Interior must be fastened flush at the top of the door and quarter panels and may taper gradually towards the center if the car not creating a “lip effect”.

D. Interior must run in a straight line from behind the drivers’ seat to the rear spoiler.

E. If interior is flat through the car, it must maintain a twelve-inch (12”) clearance from roll cage for easy exciting from either side of the car.

F. All cars with interior panels must at NO point in the car be over three inches (3”) in height. The portion of the panel running beside the driver must taper to zero or end in line with the steering wheel.

G. If interior is dropped at firewall, that portion of the firewall must be filled for safety reasons.

SPOILER

A. Rear spoiler must be manufactured of material of adequate strength such as Lexan or Aluminum.

B. Rear spoiler material maximum eight-inch (8”) height measured for deck to tip of material. Maximum seventy-two inch (72”) width.

12” maximum spoiler height for cars running GMPP 602 crate engines. MUST BE TRANSPARENT MATERIAL (ie Lexan, Plexiglas)

C. Rear spoiler is not permitted to be suspended above the deck to create a “wing effect.”

D. Rear spoiler must begin where quarter panels end. No extended decks

permitted.

E. Maximum of three (3) rear spoiler supports. Option of two (2) additional one inch (1”) aluminum braces.

F. Spoiler supports cannot be mounted wider than the top of the quarter panel.

CRATE ENGINE RULES:


A. Unaltered sealed GM crate engines only. GM part number 88958602 (steel headed) or 88958604 (aluminum headed) allowed.
B. All crate engines must remain as they came produced from GM. Absolutely no internal or external alterations of any kind can be done to the engine. Upon inspection, any altered parts and/or different/altered/missing GM seal bolts will result in disqualification, loss of all AMRA King of the Mountains points for the season, $1,000 fine and a one year suspension. Fine will be paid in full before driver is allowed to return to competition at any AMRA King of the Mountains sanctioned event.
C. No fuel injection devices, electric fuel pumps, turbo chargers, or blowers permitted.
D. No Magnetos are permitted.

PBM Iron Outlaw Engines:

A. PBM Iron Outlaw I- will be subject to the same rules and weights as the GMPP 602.

b. PBM Iron Outlaw II- will be subject to the same rules and weights as the GMPP 604.

C. PBM Iron Outlaw Boss- will be subject to the same rules as the GMPP Crate Engines. Weights TBD. (pending completion of testing)

D. PBM Iron Outlaw Magnum- will be subject to the same rules as the GMPP Crate Engines. Weights TBD. (pending completion of testing)

E. PBM Iron Outlaw Engines, regardless of who assembles the engine, must be certified and sealed by a KoM authorized builder. (Builder contact info is posted on www.komwrs.com under the "Crate Motors" page.)

Steel Block/Steel Heads-

These engines will be grandfathered for 2008 except for Tyler County Speedway. (see weight offsets)

A. No fuel injection devices, electric fuel pumps, turbo chargers, or blowers permitted.

B. No Magnetos are permitted.

 

ENGINE SET BACK RULES:

A. The engine may be set back a maximum of 6 inches from the center of ball joint to front spark plug hole.

B. GMPP Crate engines maybe set back a maximum of 8” from the center of ball joint to front spark plug hole.

C. All engines limited to one spark plug and two valves per cylinder.

Carburetor Rules:

A. 750 CFM or smaller.

Checked with go-no go gauge.

B. Maximum throttle bore Max 1 11/16ths.

Checked with go-no go gauge.

C. No remote or electric fuel pumps.

D. Carb Spacers:

>GMPP 602 2 inch max spacer.

>GMPP 604 1 inch max spacer.

>NO SPACERS PERMITTED for ANY other engines.

E. Maximum .100 inch thick carburetor gaskets only.

F. No air dams or devices allowed to increase air flow to carburetor outside of air cleaner. G. Maximum two-inch tall spacer between carburetor and air cleaner base.

H. No cold air boxes, air cleaner duct work, or fuel cooling devices.

I. No top flow air cleaner housings.

FUEL SYSTEMS

A. An approved fuel cell (32 gallon maximum) must be securely mounted in the trunk area of the car inside a 20-gauge metal box supported by two 1/8 x 2" steel straps.

B. A firewall must be installed between the fuel tank and drivers’ compartment.

FUEL:

A. Gasoline or Alcohol. Racing fuel allowed. No performance enhancing additives or pressurized fuel systems. Fuel must pass both dialectric meter and chemical tests for additives. Fuel sample may be taken from any car at any time.

 

TRANSMISSION, CLUTCH AND REAR END

A. Any transmission with working reverse and working forward gears is

permitted.

B. Manual transmission must be equipped with an operational clutch.

C. Automatic transmissions are permitted.

D. The transmission must be mounted to the rear of the engine and lead to one drive shaft.

E. No “live-axle” rear-ends are permitted.

F. No independent rear suspensions are permitted.

G. All rear-ends using a cable to lock-in the rear-end must have the cable mounted outside the cockpit area and not in reach of the driver.

DRIVESHAFTS

A. All drive shafts must be a minimum of two inches in diameter. All drive shafts must be painted silver or white.

B. Only one drive shaft is permitted.

C. The driveshaft must be protected with a secure driveshaft hoop or sling.

TIRES

A. Hoosier WRS-2-D55 Spec tires Only! All 4 Wheels!!!

B. Must punch a minimum of 50 or harder hot or cold. Must average 50 or harder all the way around and across the tire.

C. No siping or grooving! No softeners or conditioners.

D. Buffing to clean up tread surface ok. May not change the factory tread design in any way!!!

E. Largest permitted tire is twenty-nine inches (29”) by eleven inches (11”) by fifteen inches (15”).

G. Maximum circumference permitted is ninety-three inches (93”).

H. Maximum cross section width permitted is sixteen and three-quarters inches (16 ¾”).

I. Hoops for inspection must pass over tire freely.

WARNING-HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH:

Tire softeners work by physically breaking down the rubber compound, making the tire softer and increasing its ability to grip and hold the racetrack. The active ingredients in all but a select few of the softening products are hydrocarbons – chemicals like toluene and benzene – that are proven to cause cancer when ingested in even small quantities. These chemicals are easily absorbed through the skin, or inhaled as microscopic, airborne particles. Anyone using tire softener is literally taking their life in their hands. In fact, the manufacturers themselves put warning labels on their products, cautioning users to avoid physical contact with the chemicals, and recommending the use of respirators, rubber gloves, and indoor ventilation systems when using them.

WHEELS

A. Steel, aluminum, NO carbon-fiber or plastic wheels are allowed.

B. Wheels must be mounted with lug nuts: no knock-off mounting devices are allowed.

C. Maximum wheel width is fourteen inches (14”).

D. Maximum width outside of front tires is ninety inches (90”).

E. Maximum width outside of rear tires is eighty-eight inches (88”).

BRAKES

A. Must be equipped with sufficient braking system.

B. No carbon fiber rotors.

SHOCKS & SPRINGS

a) Canister shock are not allowed
b) AMRA/KoM will impose a $200.00 shock claim and exchange . Promoter, Driver or AMRA/KoM has the right to claim shock. If you turn down claim, You will lose all monies and points for that event.
c.) Must finish in the top 5 and behind the driver whose shock is being claimed.
d.) Must make claim within 10 minutes of the completion of the race.
e.) only 1 shock may claimed per race.

REMOTE CONTROL SUSPENSION DEVICES

A. NO "in-cockpit driver controlled" suspension devices permitted. NO weight jacks of any kind permitted. (This includes fifth [5th] coils, etc.). ANY driver using "in-cockpit driver controlled" suspension devices or weight jacks WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM COMPETITION!

MUFFLERS

A. Mufflers are MANDATORY. Only variance of this rule will be where not required by host track.

B. Exhaust is not permitted to be directed towards ground. Exhaust must be parallel to the ground.

C. No Tri-Y headers or merged headers allowed. Round tube headers only. All primary header tubes must enter directly into one collector, at same point, at end of header.

TRACTION CONTROL DEVICES

A. All Traction Control Devices are strictly prohibited during any form or portion of a AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned event, race or practice/test session.

B. All traction control devices whether electronically controlled in the ignition system, wheel sensors or any means of measuring ground speed to control wheel spin are strictly prohibited. All devices not mentioned in the above that are found to control wheel spin, timing or fuel delivery control will be considered strictly prohibited.

C. At NO time will there be any type of ping control devices, dial a chip controls, timing controls or any modifications to the ignition control boxes, distributors, or any other part of the Ignition System. This includes any add on component or components inside or outside the cockpit of any competitors racecar. There shall be NO driver controlled wheel spin, timing or fuel delivery control devices in the cockpit area of any racecar.

D. A competitor found with any of the above mentioned will lose the complete device permanently and will lose all points earned to that point in the season.

NOTE: A competitor may be asked for his electronic ignition at any time by the Tech. Director to be sent for testing and inspection. Failure to hand over the electronic ignition will result in the holding of any purse monies won.

WEIGHT LIMITS:

All weights limits are after the race.

A. GMPP 602 Must weigh 2200 lbs

GMPP 604 Must weigh 2350 lbs

All OTHER Steel Blocks Must weigh 2450 lbs Minimum.

NO ALUMINUM BLOCKS!!!!!

WEIGHT OFFSETS:

A. Add 50 lbs. Securely Mounted forward of the engine mid plate if your car has 1 or more of these. (total of 2450 Lbs minimum but 50 lbs must be mounted forward of engine mid-plate)

1.) Dry Sump

NOTE! The rule will be NO DRY SUMPS~ PERIOD in 2009! No Exceptions!!!!!

2.) Aluminum Heads (except approved crate/spec engines)

NOTE! The rule will be No Aluminum heads~ PERIOD in 2009! Except for approved crate/spec engines.

3.) Carb bigger than 750 CFM...PLUS NO spacer allowed!!! 

NOTE! The rule will be 750 CFM or smaller carburetor PERIOD in 2009! No Exceptions!!!!!

 

NOTES:

1.) Weights are subject to inspection. May be required to remove and weigh to verify the weight(s) mounted forward of the mid plate do in fact total 50 lbs.

If the total weight of the car exceeds 2500 lbs AFTER the race the 50 lbs in front of the motor plate penalty "MAY" possibly be waived "IF" the car is otherwise legal.

NOTE: Weights are subject to inspection.

B. Scales will be available at all AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned events.

C. The AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series officials have the right and duty to weigh any car at the official’s discretion.

D. Any attached weights must be securely attached to the frame, painted white or bright silver and have the car number clearly displayed on them. Weights of up to 50 pounds must be secured by two half inch Grade 5 bolts on two weight clamps. Weights secured by one bolt and/or held on by a means other than accepted by the Tech Inspector will not be permitted. NO ALL THREAD will be permitted. Due to the high risk factor involved, any car that loses lead weight during an event may be fined or face disqualification.

E. No weights may be attached to rear bumper.

F. No driver-operated weight adjustment devices are permitted.

CAR CONSTRUCTION INFRACTION PENALTIES:

Tech officials may impose any of the following at any time:

A. You may be given a simple warning.

B. You may be asked to correct the infraction.

C. You may be assessed a weight penalty ON THE SPOT of 25 lbs. to 100 lbs for any item not covered in the rules or otherwise deemed necessary by the Series.

D. You may be disqualified when found and/or noticed with an infraction.

E. You may choose to leave.

NOTE: KEEP IN MIND WE ARE TRYING TO INCLUDE CARS NOT EXCLUDE THEM. WEIGHT/RULES OFFSETS ARE DESIGNED TO ALLOW AS MANY CARS AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE INTEGRETY OF OUR RULES AND TO MAINTAIN A FAIR SPIRIT OF COMPETITION!!!

MISCELLANEOUS

A. Any driver or crew member found altering the racing surface will be

disqualified.

B. NO two-way radios.

C. NO "in-cockpit driver controlled" electronic devices of any kind permitted.

F. NO computer controlled devices of any kind permitted.

G. NO rearview mirrors of any kind permitted.

H. AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series officials reserve the right to change and/or alter rules and procedures at any time in the interest of fair competition.

ALL OFFICIAL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!

DECALS

There are certain decals that must be carried on the car, in order to earn both Points towards the Season Championship and Prize Money. While the Series is aware of, and, has no wish to cause conflicts

between Drivers, Teams and Sponsors, it must be realized that these companies are Major Contributors of the Season Points Fund. Decals must be present on the car for consideration for Season Championship.

These decals must be positioned on the car sides, immediately behind the front wheel, at the top of the panel. The King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Decal must be positioned at the top edge of the panel.

These Decals must be on both sides of the car, at every Series race in which the car competes.

SERIES UNIFORM LOGO PATCHES

All AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Drivers shall bear a series supplied logo patch on the front of the driver’s uniform.

CONTINGENCIES

Certain other Product Manufacturers will be awarding Contingency Money to Drivers finishing the Feature. These Awards are dependent upon the Manufacturers Decal being carried on the race car. If you

wish to be eligible to receive an Award from the Manufacturers concerned, it is your responsibility to ensure that the correct decal is affixed to your race car. Also, please be aware that the Series’

responsibility is ONLY to provide the Manufacturer with your Name and Address, and not to pay the award. All Cars finishing the Feature Race will be checked by Series Personnel for the appropriate Decals.

Any other King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Sponsor Decal that is carried on the car must be affixed prominently. There is no compulsion to carry any other Sponsor’s Decals, however, it is worth bearing in mind that Sponsors only put money into the Series to gain exposure for their products - no exposure will eventually mean no money, and therefore smaller purses for Races and Championships.

SIGN IN

1.)It will be the responsibility if all Drivers/Teams to sign in and pay entry fee (if applicable) prior to the drivers’ meeting.

2,)NO driver/team shall be allowed to be signed in by a third party. ONLY a driver or crew representative shall be allowed to sign in the car that is at the track prior to cut off.

3.)AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series officials may draw for drivers/teams not at the track under exceptional circumstances beyond the control of AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials or the drivers/teams being signed in.

4.)The pill draw will be closed once the drivers’ meeting is concluded.

5.)It is a condition of entry that the Drivers’ Registration Form is completed and handed in prior to the Driver’s first Series Race of the Season.

6.)If a Driver changes cars or teams during the season, it is his

responsibility to re-register.

7.)It is also the responsibility of the Teams/Driver to fill out a Sponsorship Registration Card upon sign-in. These cards will be used for the announcement and publication of sponsors throughout the season. If there is a change in sponsorship, it is the Teams/Drivers responsibility

to notify the P.R. Director.

ENTRY FEES

No entry fees normally. When/If fees apply they will be announced per event. (ie Special Events ONLY!)

TECHNICAL INSPECTION

1.)Tech. Inspection will be held at an area designated by the Technical Inspectors, and all Cars must sign in and pass Tech. Inspection before going out onto the Track. No Exceptions.

2.)All Race cars must pass through Tech Inspection before Driver’s Meeting.

3.)ALL Race cars must pass Tech. Inspection before a Tech. Sticker is issued.

4.)Any changes or alterations required must be completed, and the Race Car returned to Tech. Inspection before Hot Laps - No sticker means No Hot Laps - No exceptions

5.)After a Race Car has passed Tech. Inspection, and sticker has been issued, No alterations may be made to the Racecar - Any changes to spoiler height, deck height, quarter panels, doors or any other part of body will result in loss of position in either Heat Races or Last Chance Races.

6.)Spot-checks can be made by the Tech. Inspector at any time, and penalties will be applied to cars found illegal after Tech stickers have been issued.

7.)If a car is found illegal at the start of a Heat race, the Driver

will lose his position and have to start at the rear of feature.

8.)All racecars are subject to be inspected by the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Technical Director at any time during the event

9.)Any Race car found to be illegal, as a result of changes, on the Starting Grid for the Main Feature or a Last Chance race, will be changed back to legal and start from the rear - Changes may not be made on the

Grid, car must return to the Pits.

10.)Failure to follow this procedure will result in immediate disqualification, and the Grid being filled with the next Alternate.

Please Note: Once the cars have been put into position on the starting Grid for the feature, if the driver leaves the track it is the Driver’s responsibility to return before the one-to-go signal has been given in order to retain his starting position, or start from the rear. No Exceptions.

DRIVERS MEETINGS

1.)It is the responsibility of ALL drivers to attend the drivers meeting.

Any rule, format or schedule changes will be discussed at the drivers meeting.

2.)ALL DRIVERS will be responsible for information discussed at the drivers meeting. The drivers meeting is not a social gathering, your attendance and attention is mandatory.

3.)Failure to attend a drivers meeting will result in that driver starting the tail of his respective Heat Race.

A.) Driver Must be a AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series licensed member to Receive Points.

B. Points will be awarded for your best 15 finishes of the season regardless of which AMRA KoM WRS sanctioned track you raced at.

C. Once you have been scored for 15 complete races, you may begin to replace lower scored races with better ones but ONLY 15 will be scored for the year!!!!

C. The weekly track points season will begin April 1 , 2008 and end September 6, 2008. No points for weekly tracks awarded before or after those dates.

D. Double Points will be awarded for the Championship Race in September details TBA.

E.) The 2008 Awards Banquet Date, Time and Location to be announced.

Driver “MUST” attend banquet to receive awards. No proxies!!!

PURSE MONIES

A. Under no circumstances will AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series officials collect any Prize Monies on behalf of Drivers or Teams. If you have won money it is your responsibility to collect or make arrangements with the Promoter - it is not the responsibility of the series officials, and Prize Money will not be collected, credited or otherwise accounted for by any Series Official before, during, or after an event.

MEMBERS PROVISIONAL STARTS

NO PROVSIONALS FOR NON-MEMBERS!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

1.)A maximum of two (2) Provisional Starters will be allowed in any Main Feature. Provisional Starters will be the two (2) Highest Points Scorers from the Points Standings who have not qualified for the A-Main.

2.) For Special Events, Regional points will be used.

3.) For weekly events KoM Track points will be used.

4.) Should a provisional be required for the first event of the season, the highest in last years regional points will be the 1st eligible driver.

5.) Provisional starters will start on the tail of the feature.

6.) In order to use a Provisional, a Driver must be, a paid AMRA KoM WRS member, present for the entire Event, entered at the correct time and have started his last assigned Heat race or consy race.

7. Past Champions Provisional may be exercised for 1 of the 2 provisional spots.

1st option given to the regional past champions highest in points.

2nd option given to the KoM track champion highest in the points.

7.) Drivers will begin the Season with two (2) Provisionals for the Season.

8.) How many cars start the feature will be at the discretion of the promoter.


 

PROMOTER’S OPTION -FOR SPECIAL EVENTS ONLY!!! (MEMBERS ONLY)

1.)At the discretion of the Promoter, the track may opt to start two (2) extra Drivers at the tail of the Field.

2.)If this option is exercised, any Driver who is allowed to start as a Promoter’s Option will not score Points!!!!

3.)Any driver earning a promoters option provisional must have started a heat race or consy.

RAINOUTS

1.)Should an event be postponed until a later date due to inclement weather, all events that have been completed shall stand good upon returning to the rescheduled date.

2.)Any Driver not present on the previous date, may compete upon payment of Pit fees and any Entry Fee that may be applicable.

Drivers entering an Event in this way, will be tagged on to the rear of events that are left to be completed, by the order of sign in. It is up to the discretion of the promoter to determine how many cars will start the feature.

3.)All scheduled events that are rained out, or otherwise canceled due to circumstances outside the control of King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials and Track Officials will be re-scheduled if at all possible.

4.) Drivers and crew members MUST retain Armbands, or any other Pit -Admission ticket to be re-admitted to a re-scheduled event.

5.) Entry Fees paid to King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials will be applied to the re-scheduled event and will only be refunded if NO other events remain on the schedule.

RAIN DELAYS

1.) In a rain delay situation, AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials reserve the right to amend the racing format in the interest of time restraints and/or scheduling conflicts. The format change

will be made with the FANS & RACE TEAMS best interest in mind, and changes will only be made if an event is in jeopardy of being lost due to rescheduling availability, a time curfew or inclement weather.

2.)Under these circumstances the amount of laps for Heat Races and Main events may be shortened.

3.)In EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES promoter may opt to line cars up by points position. For the first 3 events of the year, pill draw will be used instead.

4.)The A-Main must reach the halfway point before it will be considered a complete event in the event of a weather condition.

5.)If in the event weather should affect the A-main before the half way point, the event will be restarted at the point and the running order it was delayed by the weather situation.

AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS

1.)During the season there MAY be autograph sessions .

The time for the autograph session will be announced.

2.)Regardless of their starting position for that day’s event, it is

mandatory that all drivers in the Top Ten in points attend.

3.)Failure to comply with this request will result

in the forfeiture 5 championship points.

4.)It is not the intention of this Series to deter drivers from their work. This rule is intended to provide a service to the Promoters and Fans who make our sport possible.

PRE-RACE STAGING

1.)Any driver that arrives late to a staging area, either in the pits, or on the track, may be required to start that event from the rear of the field.

That shall include and not be limited to: Time Trials, Heats, B-Mains,

Drivers’ Introductions & A-Main.

2.)A brief tech inspection can occur before each event, it is the drivers responsibility to be in line early enough to pass through this tech inspection prior to Time Trials, Heats, B-Mains & the A-main. If the

driver is not in line early enough to pass thru tech, this will result in starting the rear of the field or missing that event.

RACE PROCEDURES AND RULES

1.) Standard Flagging procedures will be used for each Event.

2.)If, for any reason, the Race is run one lap short or long, the Race is officially over when the Checkered Flag falls.

3.)After an on-track incident, the car or cars, that come to a stop on the race track, that were involved in the incident will be those that are sent to the rear before the restart.

4.)Any cars that stop or spin out to avoid running into an incident will be

allowed to keep their position in the line.

5.)All original starts will be double file and start at the start cone placed midway between turn four and the starters stand. Front Row should approach the start cone at a moderate pace, keeping nosepieces as even

as possible. Once the front row reaches the start cone they may accelerate and the race will be underway.

6.)Any driver jumping the original start will be warned for the first offense, second offense the driver will be moved back a row.

7.)Brake checking on a start or restart will not be tolerated. If you change your pace coming to the green flag on a start or restart and cause damage to another car, you will be subject to disqualified from that race with no warning.

8.)Once the green flag drops, the race is officially underway. On the original start and before one (1) complete lap is scored, if only one car is involved in a caution and stops on the track, that car will restart

from the tail. If more than one (1) car is involved in a caution before one (1) lap is scored all cars involved in the caution that came to a stop will receive their original starting positions, provided there are

no penalties to be assessed.

9.)Once a caution is thrown cars must slow down. Field will be put into correct running order in a single-file line. ALL cars one (1) lap or more down to the leader will be placed at the rear of the single-file line.

10.)Once correct running order is established the field will be placed in order according to the last completed lap.

11.)If any driver is penalized to the rear of the field before one (1) complete lap is scored, the remainder of the field should move straight up.

12.) Any driver that stops on the track in order to cause a caution WITHOUT CAUSE is subject to black flagged from that event.

Causing a caution for the avoidance of being lapped, to gain a restart, or any other reason not related to a mechanical difficulty will be considered WITHOUT CAUSE.

13.) All restarts must be nose to tail and start at the start cone placed between turn four and the starters stand.

14.)Leader may accelerate exiting turn four at a moderate pace approaching the start cone.

15.) If leader accelerates early, defined as accelerating anywhere other than the exit of turn four, the leader will be warned for first offense – second offense they will be moved back a row.

16.)Drivers, other than the leader, may not pass until they have passed the start cone. Doing so will be considered a jump start and result in

being sent to the tail.

17.) Any driver (including lead car) passing to the inside of the start cone or hitting the start cone will be sent to the tail.

18.) Any driver racing off the race track to gain a position will be black flagged and scored last.

SPIN RULE

1.) Any driver that is involved in two (2) single car incidents resulting in a caution flag, will be sent to the pits and scored according to order of finish.

HEAT RACE & CONSY ASSIGNMENTS

1.)No car will be allowed to change Heat Race or Consy Race Assignments under any circumstances.

ALTERNATES

1.)Any Driver in the Feature, who is unable to start will lose his position to an Alternate.

2.)Alternate Drivers will be notified of their positions, and if you are not ready to go, it is fairly certain that the Alternates will be. Once an Alternate has been called forward to take your position, you may not reclaim that position.

3.)No Alternates will be allowed to start after the field has pulled away from the starting grid.

4.)In the event that a Driver is unable to take up his assigned Grid Position, the following Cars will be moved straight forward to fill that position. The Grid will not be crossed and realigned.

5.)Alternates will join on at the back of the Field, and not in the empty positions.\

CAUTION PROCEDURES

1.)There will be no racing back to the Caution, except on the last lap, after the White Flag has been shown to the Leader and the Leader has started his last lap.

2.) In the event of a Caution, the car, or cars, involved in the incident that comes to a stop on the race track, will be sent to the rear.

3.)All cars that are indirectly involved in the accident (spinning or stopping to avoid the wreck) will be given their position back.

4.) In the event of either a Caution or a Red Flag, after one (1) lap has been scored, any car that goes into the Pits will rejoin the Field at the rear.

5.) In the event of a Caution or a Red Flag on the starting lap, Drivers may enter the pits for repair, and assume their original grid positions, provided that they have regained the Track before the one to go signal has been given.

6.) In all cases, either starts or restarts, if the one lap to go signal has been given, those rejoining after the signal must join the Field at the rear.

7.) In the event of a Caution, all lapped cars will line up for the restart at the rear of the field by position on the race track, and according to the previously completed lap.

8.) In the event of a Caution, since there will be no racing back to the Yellow Flag, the Field will line up for restarts in the order of the last completed Green Flag lap.

9.) In order to retain its’ position, a car must have been in position for one complete Green Flag to Green Flag lap, including lapped cars.

10.) Any Driver that spins, for any reason, as he is being lapped, or, is about to be lapped by the leader, and brings out the Caution will be scored one lap down from that point onwards in the race.

11.) Any Driver, or any member of any Team who works on the car, during a Caution or Red Flag, while the Car is still on the Track will be judged to have made a Pit Stop, and will be sent to the rear.

12.) Only Track or Series Officials may work on cars on the Track, and if the Officials are unable to fix a problem, they may send the car to the Pits. This Rule also applies in the event of an accident.

13.) If you get out of your car for any reason unless directed by an official or immanent danger you will be sent to the pits and scored according to finishing order.

14.) Any car pitting in a Heat Race or B-Main will not be allowed to re-enter the race and be scored last.

15.) Any driver making a green flag pit stop during the A-Main will not be allowed to re-enter the event until the next caution period.

16.) There will be no courtesy laps for flat tires after 1 green flag lap has been completed in the A-main.

17.) There will be no courtesy laps for flat tires during Heat races, or B-Mains.

18.) Only 2 courtesy laps will be given for flat tires before 1 green flag lap has been completed in the A-main.

PENALTIES

1.) There is a distinct difference between being given the Black Flag and being Disqualified.

2.) Black Flag - means that you have been sent to the Pits and will take no further part in the current race, whether it is a Heat, Last Chance or Feature. Your car will not be scored from the Black Flag time onwards.

3.) Disqualified - means that you will not be allowed to take any further part in the competition from that point on. No Points or Prize Money will be awarded in the event of a Disqualification whenever it occurs during the feature event.

4.) A DQ during/after a heat or consy race will result in being scored last in that heat unless the violator committed a deliberate act of violence either in or out of the car. Aggressive/Rough driving will be considered a violent act!

In which case the driver and crew is DQ’d from the entire event and consequent penalties will be accessed.

ON TRACK PENALTIES

The following Penalties will be applied after normal Caution Procedures have been followed, unless special circumstances apply:

1.) Under Green Flag or Caution Flag conditions, the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Director reserves the right to invoke penalties or suspensions of any Driver whose actions are deemed to be overly aggressive, or fall into the category of “rough driving.”

2.) Drivers will be notified of any penalties that have been levied by the Series Director.

3.) All decisions shall be final.

Note: This rules is not intended to eliminate competition or accidental contact; however, is intended that deliberate contact and/or over-driving, will be penalized.

4.) Any physical confrontation, either on the Race Track or in the Pits, will result in the Aggressor or Aggressors being suspended for the next three events or payment of a $500 fine PLUS the loss of points for that event. Fine will be paid before driver is allowed to return to any AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned event.

5.) A second offense will result in suspension for the rest of the Season.

6.) Any Driver who enters another Driver’s Pit area will be deemed the Aggressor.

7.) Away from with driver’s Pit area, both drivers will be considered Aggressors.

8.) Drivers should be aware that they will be held responsible for any

members of their Race Team, and the above Penalties will apply even if the driver concerned is not directly involved.

9.) Any incidents that occur during the last THREE Events of the Season could result in Penalties being applied at the beginning of the following Season.

10.) Any incidents that are judged to be “Deliberate Acts of Aggression”, whether on or off the Track, under Green or Caution, will result in Disqualification.

11.) The AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Officials reserve the right to increase the above Penalties, depending on the severity of the incident.

12.) Any car that deliberately causes a Caution, in the judgment of the Series Official or other Officials, after the Pace Laps have been started, OR under Green Flag conditions, OR as the Race is about

to go back to Green WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!!

13.) If a Car is Black-flagged, it will not be scored from that point on.

Failure to leave the Track after being Black-flagged may result in Disqualification.

14. Any driver or crew member who threatens another driver, crew member, family member, track crew member, or a AMRA King of the Mountains Series Official will be DQ'd from that event, no points awarded, no money awarded, suspended from ANY AMRA King of the Mountains WRS event for 2 weeks, fined $500, fine will be paid before that driver may return to AMRA KoM WRS competition. Drivers are responsible for themselves, crew, and/or family members.

15. Any driver or crew member who physically assaults another driver, crew member, family member, track crew member, or AMRA King of the Mountains Series official will be DQ'd from the event, no points awarded, no money awarded, 1 year suspension from the series from date of incident, pay a $1000 fine before being allowed to return to AMRA KoM WRS competition. Again drivers are responsible for themselves, crew, and/or family members.

16. THROWING ANY OBJECT AT A DRIVER, CAR, FLAG STAND, PRESS BOX, TRACK VEHICLE, OFFICIAL, OR ANY OTHER PERSON WILL BE CONSIDERED ASSAULT!!!!! CONSEQUENT PENALTIES WILL BE ACCESSED!!!

TIME

1.) ALL DRIVERS PLEASE All Events will be conducted according to schedule in a timely manner.

2.) Schedules will be posted in the Pits, as will Lineups Orders. It is your responsibility to adjust your work load accordingly and be ready when called.

3.) During Heat Races, you must be in the staging area before the end of the previous Heat.

4.) Cars may not enter the track after the 1 to go signal has been given.

5.) At Feature time - if you are not in position by the required time during the program you will start from the rear.

6.) It should also be noted that cars must be presented for Tech. Inspection when requested to do so by the Tech. Inspector or Series Director. Delays in getting Tech. Inspection completed, or refusal to unload in a timely manner will result in offending Drivers being denied Hot Laps.

7.) Heat races, Consys, B-Mains, and Features will be timed. 1.5 minutes will be allowed per scheduled lap. (ie.. 6 laps = 9 minutes, 8 laps = 12 minutes, 20 laps = 30 minutes)

WEIGH-IN

1.)All Cars will weigh in at the Scales immediately before, or following, their heat races, as per the Weight Rule, and as per Track layout. (will be announced at drivers meeting)

2.)The Top 5 Cars must weigh in immediately following their Heat

Races, and Last Chance Races.

3.) If only one Last Chance Feature is run, ALL TRANSFERRING cars must weigh in.

4.) Following the Main Feature, Top 5 Cars that finish the race must cross the scales and weigh in correctly. Top 5 must report directly to the scales or tech area. This includes the Winner who must weigh prior to any Winners’ Interview or Presentation held on the front straight.

5.) All Cars required to scale must proceed directly from the race track to the Scales. Any detour, to anywhere, WILL result in disqualification.

6.) After heat races, any detour will result in being scored last in that heat.

7.) Should any Car stop on the way to the Scales, and be touched by

anyone other than a Race Official, the Driver will be disqualified. No Exceptions.

8.) Any car that is light at the Scales following a Heat race, Last Chance race or Feature will be relegated to last place for that race.

CHANGES/ SUBSTITUTIONS

1.) Any driver changes must be approved by Series and/or Track officials.

2.) Substitute driver will start on the tail of heat or feature.

3.) Points will go with the driver. If driver is a non-member, no points will be awarded.

4.) At the discretion of the Series Director, Drivers may change cars at any time between Heat Races and the start of the Main Feature. However, any change will result in the car starting in the rear of Heat Race, Consy (B-Main), or Feature in question.

5.) If a Driver chooses to change cars after Hot Laps, that Driver will

remain in his drawn position for the heats races.

6.) Drivers and Teams should remember that once the Officials have been notified of a car change, the car being withdrawn shall not re-enter the Event for any reason.

7.) At all races, once the Feature Race has pulled away from the starting grid, no car changes will be permitted.

8.) It should be noted that certain procedural changes may have to be implemented during the Season. Any changes will only be made with the Drivers, Teams Promoters, and Fans best interests in mind. Example: In case of an Event being rescheduled at a later date.

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS TEAM OWNERS AND TEAM MEMBERS

Please remember that we are here because of the Fans, Promoters and the Sponsors. If they don’t benefit…we won’t. While we understand that this Competition involves substantial financial stakes, there is no excuse for bad or unruly behavior which would tend to bring the Series into disrepute.

1.)The AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series is a professional organization and will conduct itself so in it’s dealings with everyone, including Fans, Drivers, Team Members, Series Sponsors, Team Sponsors, Tracks and the Press. The Series therefore expects the same from its Drivers, Team Members and Team Sponsors.

2.) The Series organizers and officials therefore reserve the right to take disciplinary action against anyone who brings the Series into disrepute by their actions, either on or off the track.

3.) In the event of any Felony conviction of a Driver, Team Member or Team Sponsor, the disciplinary action shall be a minimum one-year ban from the Series beginning with the date of the conviction, or, the date of the completion of any incarceration subsequent to said conviction, whichever date shall last occur.

4.) Disciplinary action may also include, but is not limited to, the right of the Series organizers and officials to suspend either temporarily, or permanently, any driver, team member or team sponsor whose actions, in the sole opinion and discretion of the Series organizers and officials, may have resulted in, or may result in, harm or detriment to the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Events.

5.) The Series organizers and officials also reserve the Right to request the removal of any derogatory or distasteful statements on any race car or hauler. Failure to comply with this request for removal may result in disqualification from some or all the AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series events.

6.) The decisions made, and the disciplinary actions taken, by the Series organizers and Officials hereunder shall not be appealed by the Driver, Team Member or Team Sponsor affected thereby.

Media/Advertising

By Entering, and/or Racing in a King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series Event you are accepting these Rules and Regulations, being those under which you are prepared to race. Any Driver entering and competing in a AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series event acknowledges and accepts the following: AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series and its assigns may use the Driver’s names, pictures, likeness, and performances in any way, medium, or material. Including without limitations by and through, television, radio air-wave: cable and satellite broadcasts, film productions, videotape reproductions, audio-take reproductions, transmissions over the Internet and public and private on-line service authorized by AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series and the like, before, during and after the event for promoting, advertising, recording or reporting in the event or any other AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series sanctioned event, and do hereby relinquish all rights there to for these purposes, provided however that the car owner and driver shall retain the exclusive use of its or his name; picture and likeness in connection with product endorsements and the sale of products, services.

Agreement to Hold Harmless-

By entering a AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series event, person is entering into a legal agreement with AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series. In addition person is also entering into a ‘HOLD HARMLESS” contract with above mentioned companies, officers of said companies, sponsors, employees, officers, stock holders, Regional Directors (in good standing) and weekly sanctioned tracks (in good standing). Person agrees that racing is a dangerous sport and is hereby forfeiting any and all legal rights against all previously mentioned parties for any reason whatsoever. The AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series cannot be held responsible for accidents.

Person also agrees that SERIES may confiscate all crate engine parts should person be found “illegal”. Driver and car owner AGREE that by participating in a AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series weekly or touring event, should competitor be found illegal all rules stated under engine section and penalty section of AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series RULE BOOK TAKE FULL PRECIDENCE OVER ANY UNDERSTANDING IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE.

SERIES reserves the right to “decline” any membership. Series MAY ALSO CANCEL ANY MEMBERSHIP IF FOUND PURPOSELY CHEATING.

 

AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series WILL CONTINUE VIGOROUS INVESTIGATION INTO BACKGROUND OF TEAM OWNER, DRIVER AND ALSO DO INVESTIGATIVE WORK TO FIND ENGINE BUILDER RELATED TO ANY SUCH INCIDENT OF CHEATING. AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series WILL NOT TOLERATE CHEATING WITHIN THE SEALED BOLTS OF APPROVED CRATE ENGINES. DOING ILLEGAL WORK INSIDE OF A SEALED ENGINE IS IN DIRECT CONFLICT OF ANY SERIES UTILIZING SEALED ENGINES. ENGINE BUILDER WILL BE BARRED FOR LIFE AS AN APPROVED CRATE ENGINE REBUILDER FOR THE SERIES AND ANY AMRA King of the Mountains SANCTIONED TRACK, REPORTED TO GM AND EVERY SERIES AND TRACK IN THE UNITED STATES KNOWN TO AMRA King of the Mountains Weekly Racing Series . ARTICLES WILL BE PUBLISHED IN MAJOR NEWS PRINT SHOULD SUCH INCIDENT TAKE PLACE.
